Message from Dr. Brown

Dear Parents and Community Members-

I regret to inform you that I was notified that school bus driver (since 2016), Jeffrey T. Wright, was arrested by the New York State Police today on charges of possession of a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony, and promoting the sexual performance of a child, a class D felony, stemming from an investigation that took place outside of school. He was placed on administrative leave as soon as I received the information. We have no reason to believe that any West Genesee students were involved, and we are fully cooperating with authorities as they complete their investigation.
